Standard & cut-throat · up to 8 players
Aim for the trebles of 20–15 to close fast, then pile on points.
Cricket is the tactical darts game: only 15 to 20 and the bull count. Close each number with three marks, then score on it while your opponent still has it open. DartNow draws the marks board, adds up the points and tells you what you still need to close.
Each row is a target. A slash (╱) is one mark, a cross (✕) two, and a circled cross (⊗) means the number is closed. Points are added up along the bottom.
Cut-throat is the favourite version for three or more players. When you score on a closed number, the points go to every opponent who hasn't closed it instead of to you. The lowest score wins, so you're trying to load points onto everyone else. Turn it on with the Cut-throat switch in the settings.
At the end of the game DartNow shows each player's marks per round (MPR), the standard cricket stat. It's your total marks divided by your visits: hitting one treble every visit is 3 MPR.
15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and the bull. Hits anywhere else don't count.
Close a number with three marks, then every extra mark on it scores its face value, as long as an opponent hasn't closed it too. A treble 20 on a 20 you've already closed is 60 points.
The bullseye counts as two marks and the outer bull as one. Once you've closed the bull, extra marks score 25 each, so a bullseye is worth 50.
A version where points you score go to every opponent who hasn't closed that number, and the player with the lowest score wins once all their numbers are closed.
The game isn't over. You keep scoring on numbers your opponent hasn't closed until you're level or ahead, while they try to close them or catch up.
